On the morning of April 8, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the province to organize a ceremony to receive financial support from the Ministry of Public Security and launch a 180-day campaign to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses (XNT, NDN) in the province. Attending the event were Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

On the provincial side, there were comrades: Trieu Dinh Le, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Steering Committee (SC) to support the implementation of XNT and NDN in the province; Hoang Xuan Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Police and departments, branches, sectors and organizations of the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Public Security Pham The Tung affirmed: In recent times, the Ministry of Public Security, together with ministries, central agencies and localities, has urgently and drastically implemented the program of supporting policy households, poor households, near-poor households, and people affected by natural disasters and climate change. Implementing the direction of the Government, since the beginning of the year, the Ministry has mobilized all its forces to donate and support daily wages with a total budget of 362 billion VND to support supporting support for supporting policy households and people affected by natural disasters and climate change in the two provinces of Cao Bang and Gia Lai.

Emphasizing the role and strategic position of Cao Bang province, the homeland of the revolution, he said: The Ministry of Public Security, especially Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang, always pays attention to Cao Bang from social security work, improving people's quality of life to socio-economic development, ensuring security and order; continue to accompany and coordinate with Cao Bang province to carry out the emulation movement "Joining hands to improve the living conditions of the people nationwide in 2025". To complete the support for XNT and NDN in the province in September 2025, the Ministry of Public Security requests the Provincial Public Security, with its core role, to promote the great strength of the people's armed forces, actively contribute efforts, join hands with the political system and the people, strive to complete and exceed the program according to the set plan.

Propose that the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee direct the Provincial Police to coordinate with departments, branches, localities, youth union members, armed forces and construction units to build houses for people to ensure quality and on schedule.

At the ceremony, the Ministry of Public Security presented 131 billion VND in funding donated by officers and soldiers of the entire People's Public Security force to the province to implement the program on poverty reduction and poverty alleviation in the province; presented gifts from the Ministry of Public Security to forces participating in supporting the program; and presented 20 gifts to families eligible for support on poverty reduction and poverty alleviation.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trieu Dinh Le affirmed that the funding source supported by the Ministry of Public Security is a large source of funding for the ethnic minorities of Cao Bang - the homeland of the revolution, helping the province to complete the program of XNT and NDN in 2025. The province is committed to using the funding source effectively, openly, transparently and to the right subjects, ensuring that households in difficult circumstances will be supported promptly, soon settle down, focus on production and work, soon escape poverty and improve their lives. At the same time, it is required that all levels and sectors in the province continue to strengthen inspection and supervision to ensure the progress and quality of the project, avoiding loss and waste.

Launching the 180-day peak campaign to complete the program of XNT and NDN in the province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Truong Huy emphasized: In 2025, Cao Bang province will continue to mobilize and arrange resources to complete the support for eliminating 7,115 temporary and dilapidated houses, with a total funding need of more than 371 billion VND. In addition to capital from the State budget and support from the Ministry of Public Security, the province needs to mobilize nearly 70 billion VND from socialized sources to complete the program, requiring the joint efforts of the entire political system, business community and society.

With a vibrant competitive spirit and high determination in the effort to "take the lead" and "create a different breakthrough" of the revolutionary homeland of Cao Bang; striving to complete the goal of supporting XNT and NDN before the 20th Provincial Party Congress, the Ministry of Public Security and the province officially launched the "180-day peak campaign to complete the XNT and NDN Support Program in the province".

Focus on synchronously implementing solutions to complete the construction of industrial parks and small and medium-sized enterprises in the province in 2025.

Agencies, organizations, enterprises, cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers; soldiers of the armed forces; members of unions, mass organizations; and people of all walks of life in Cao Bang province actively participated in contributing and responding to the peak period. Each person and each organization promoted their spirit and responsibility, joined hands and contributed to creating a widespread, practical and effective movement to successfully achieve the goal of completely eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for people in the province.
