Received nearly 600 units of blood at the "Yen Son Red Drops" Voluntary Blood Donation Festival

Leaders of Yen Son District Party Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the blood donation movement.

The festival attracted over 1,200 volunteers including union members, youth, civil servants, armed forces and local people. The organizing committee received nearly 600 units of blood. The collected blood will be transferred to hospitals to serve the work of saving and treating patients.

On this occasion, the District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 4 groups and 20 individuals with achievements in the district's voluntary blood donation movement.

The voluntary blood donation festival “Giọt hồng Yên Sơn” is an annual activity demonstrating a noble gesture with profound humanitarian meaning. The festival conveys the message “Donating blood to save lives is a noble gesture” to provide good quality blood and blood products to serve the needs of treatment, emergency, and blood reserve for security and national defense.
