Received 304 units of blood at the Youth Voluntary Blood Donation Festival

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of the province Nguyen Quoc Toan said that the 2025 Youth Voluntary Blood Donation Festival is held annually with the aim of raising awareness among cadres, union members, youth and people about the special meaning and importance of the voluntary blood donation movement.

From there, we will promote and mobilize cadres, union members and young people to participate in voluntary blood donation, creating a beautiful culture of blood donation to save lives, contributing to promptly solving the need for blood sources to save lives. At the same time, we will promote the spirit of initiative, volunteerism and responsibility of young people and people in participating in voluntary blood donation.

With the message “Every drop of blood given – A life saved”, the festival attracted more than 500 cadres, union members, youth and people to register to donate blood. As a result, the organizing committee received 304 units of blood, including many union members and youth who donated blood more than 10 times.

Participating in blood donation, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hieu, a member of the Provincial Social Insurance Youth Union, said: “Today, I donated 450ml of blood. Knowing that my blood can help save the life of a patient in critical condition, I always feel happy when donating blood. I will try my best to improve my health so that I can donate blood in the next festivals.”
