Along with that, in recent years, the province has applied and implemented many mechanisms and policies to support the development of high-quality products, market access, and high economic efficiency. In particular, the application of advanced technology in production is the "lever" contributing to diversifying, improving the quality and affirming the position of Thanh Hoa goods in the domestic market and gradually reaching the international level.

According to statistics, Thanh Hoa province has about 200 agricultural products, thousands of industrial products, and handicraft products that are traded on the market, bringing revenue, profit, and increasing income for producers. However, backwardness in production methods is one of the barriers that prevent products from being competitive in the market. Therefore, more and more enterprises, cooperatives, and production facilities have proactively applied production technology with the goal of sustainable development in the market.

Le Gia Food and Trading Service Company Limited (Hoang Hoa) is one of the leading enterprises in successfully applying advanced science and technology to the production of traditional fish sauce, contributing to the diversification of quality agricultural products of the province. With famous products, certified quality in the market, such as: shrimp paste, shrimp paste, Le Gia fish sauce, food spices... Thanh Hoa province has Nghi Son Economic Zone, 8 planned industrial parks with a total area of ​​over 2,000 hectares and 45 industrial clusters that have attracted thousands of enterprises and large projects, contributing significantly to the growth and economic restructuring of the province.

To maintain sustainable development and create a healthy competitive environment, the province is gradually promoting economic restructuring towards industrialization and modernization, rapidly increasing the added value and competitiveness of products and enterprises, and creating more opportunities to participate in global value chains. According to statistics, up to now, Thanh Hoa province has 32 science and technology enterprises, ranking third in the country in terms of quantity, after Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The province's science and technology enterprises operate in many fields, such as: industrial and agricultural production, medical equipment and supplies, trade and services, information technology, etc. This shows that enterprises in the province are not only pioneers in research and application of science and technology in management and operation, good customer care services, but also gradually create quality products, conquering the market and consumers.

Along with the initiative of enterprises, Thanh Hoa province also implemented many solutions to encourage enterprises to innovate and invest in technology such as the Program to support the development of science and technology enterprises and the innovation startup ecosystem of Thanh Hoa province, period 2021-2025; national and local industrial promotion programs to support the innovation of machinery and equipment for enterprises, creating a foundation for enterprises to improve quality, diversify products, and proactively adapt to market needs.

According to statistics from the Department of Industry and Trade, Thanh Hoa province currently has 212 enterprises participating in exports with 55 types of export goods. The export value of goods in recent years of the province has reached the threshold of 4.5 - 5 billion USD. Of which, there are 23 OCOP products, 18 industrial products and some key agricultural products, such as: cassava starch, surimi fish cakes, fish meal, exported wood chips, canned vegetables and fruits... In addition, every year, in the province, there are 5 - 10 products that are granted certificates of typical rural industrial products, in the groups of agricultural, forestry, aquatic and food processing products, handicrafts and other products.

In the 2021-2030 period, the national program to support businesses in improving productivity and product and goods quality has set a target of increasing the number of businesses supported with solutions to improve productivity and quality by 10-15%/year. Therefore, departments, branches and localities in the province have been training and supporting businesses in investing in machinery and applying science and technology to improve productivity and product quality. This will be a favorable condition to help businesses maintain and improve their products, making them competitive in the domestic market. At the same time, meeting international standards and quality so that more and more products with Thanh Hoa brand can develop sustainably and effectively, conquering the export market.
