Tien Phuoc focuses on building digital government

In recent times, Tien Phuoc district has applied information technology and digital technology in government activities. The district’s electronic one-stop system has been operating effectively.

The rate of online public services generating online records reached 34.33%; transferred to the public postal service to receive records and return settlement results at the District Reception and Results Department in 2022; deployed to post administrative procedures under the settlement authority of the People's Committees of communes and towns using QR codes.

All administrative procedures provided online at levels 3 and 4 have been integrated and made public on the Provincial Public Service Portal; 323 administrative procedures currently provided online at levels 3 and 4 have been integrated and made public on the Provincial Public Service Portal.

The District People's Committee's electronic information portal operating at the address: http://tienphuoc.quangnam.gov.vn has provided information related to the activities of administrative agencies, helping people and businesses easily search and exploit necessary and useful information. The district's electronic information portal has been upgraded, equipped and integrated with useful software and promoted its functionality.

Integrating 2 websites “Tien Phuoc Tourism ” and “Loc Yen Ancient Village” into the district’s electronic information portal. Each commune has an electronic information page to update local activities. The security camera surveillance system has been and is being deployed throughout the district. Currently, there are a total of 195 security cameras in communes and towns in the district.

Mr. Tram Que Huong - Chairman of Tien Phuoc District People's Committee said that the locality identified the importance of building e-government, smart cities towards digital government, digital economy as an inevitable trend of development.

In recent years, Tien Phuoc has promoted the application of information technology in the direction, operation, and administrative reform of the entire political system, contributing to improving competitiveness. Gradually shifting from traditional working methods to working in a modern digital environment, ensuring publicity, transparency, reducing paperwork, saving costs and time, bringing practical benefits to people and businesses.

“Notably, the operation of the District-level Smart Operations Center will help Tien Phuoc synthesize information and data sources from the Central, provincial, local and unit levels in many fields.

Thereby providing a real-time overview of the socio-economic situation, security, order, and smart services in the locality. This helps district leaders systematize information related to the fields across the district to promptly direct, operate, and handle work transparently, quickly, and effectively, serving both the government and the people better," said Mr. Tram Que Huong.
