In the first six months of 2024, the total production value of Tien Hai district is estimated at over 11,215 billion VND, an increase of more than 5.4% over the same period in 2023.

Of which, the value of industrial, handicraft and construction production is estimated at 7,049 billion VND; the value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production is estimated at more than 2,572 billion VND; the value of commercial and service production is estimated at 1,594 billion VND.

Regarding agricultural production, the spring rice crop continued to be good with a yield of 71 quintals/ha; the livestock, aquaculture, and seafood exploitation sectors maintained stable development. The new rural construction program continued to be directed and implemented by the district. The district has 3 communes of Dong Hoang, An Ninh, and Nam Cuong recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as meeting advanced new rural standards in 2023; there are 36 OCOP products. Industrial production, trade and services in the district maintained a fairly good growth rate; the investment and business environment was improved, many key projects were implemented, basically ensuring construction progress. Site clearance work continued to be directed resolutely and effectively, a number of key projects and important connections were focused on resources, creating momentum for investment attraction and economic development. Industrial production still faced many difficulties, reaching more than 40% of the yearly plan.

To achieve the goals and plans for 2024, in the last 6 months of the year, Tien Hai district will focus on directing and implementing the approved agricultural production project well. Proactively coordinate and urge businesses and investors to speed up investment progress, put projects into operation according to the approved plan; focus on investing in infrastructure, site clearance, completing connecting traffic routes, key projects; strengthen coordination in performing tasks between localities and units, ensuring smoothness and continuity...
