The program took place with the following activities: Briefly learning about Tien Giang province and Tien Giang women's activities; Awarding scholarships to students in difficult circumstances; Exchange of Women's Unions of 12 provinces; Honoring 60 outstanding Chairmen of Women's Unions at the grassroots level...

Accordingly, the Godmother Program awarded 100 scholarships (50 scholarships worth 500,000 VND/scholarship and 50 scholarships worth 1 million VND/scholarship) to 100 disadvantaged students in Tien Giang; awarded 14 orphans 5 million VND each.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vo Van Binh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Tien Giang province emphasized the role of the Women's Union. According to Mr. Binh, the Women's Union and grassroots Women's Union officials are also the bridge between the Women's Union organization and its members, women; between the Women's Union organization and the Party and local authorities. The quality of activities of the Women's Union organization and grassroots Women's Union officials is one of the important factors, deciding the strong development of the Union system at all levels, contributing to building a strong grassroots political system.

At the workshop, delegates watched a report on the life and career of comrade Nguyen Thi Thap. The workshop included 10 reports with 2 topics.
