Tien Giang: Continue to give study encouragement shelter to excellent students in difficult circumstances

(Dan sinh) - On October 24, at Tan Phu hamlet, Tan Thanh commune, Go Cong Dong district, the Tien Giang Province Children's Support Fund in coordination with the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education organized the acceptance ceremony and handover of the education promotion shelter to Ly Thi Quynh Nhu, an excellent student with housing difficulties.

Quynh Nhu received a scholarship and gifts.

The shelter given to Quynh Nhu (born in 2009) has an area of ​​48 square meters, tiled floor, corrugated iron roof, iron rafters and beams, walls, wooden doors... with a total construction cost of 73 million VND.

Of which, the Children's Support Fund supported 40 million VND. The remaining amount was contributed by the family.

In addition, Quynh Nhu also received many other meaningful gifts including: 50 kg of rice sponsored by Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Loan, who mobilized benefactors in Cai Be; gifts from the Provincial, District and Commune Education Promotion Associations; gifts from the Children's Support Fund, My Tho City Charity Association; and the government and people of Tan Thanh commune.
