Tien Giang: Completion and putting into use of Traffic Road serving industrial development in the East

The Eastern Industrial Development Road Project has been completed and put into use.

According to the Traffic Project Management Board, the project has a total investment of over 182.8 billion VND, of which the site clearance cost is over 55.4 billion VND. The project is over 6.215 km long, divided into 2 sections.

Accordingly, the section from Provincial Road 871B to the Soai Rap River bank is more than 2.145 km long, with a road surface width of 12 m and a roadbed width of 17 m. The axle design load is 12 tons, with an asphalt structure.

The section from the boundary of Soai Rap Petroleum Service Industrial Park and Gia Thuan 2 Industrial Cluster to Provincial Road 871 is over 4.069 km long, with a road surface width of 7 m and a roadbed width of 9 m. The axle load is designed to be 12 tons, with an asphalt structure.

Particularly, the section from Vam Lang Primary School to Provincial Road 871 has a 10 cm thick hot asphalt concrete road surface.

On the new construction route of the bridge over Hoi Dong Huyen canal, design load HL93, build a longitudinal drainage system and a cross-culvert of reinforced concrete road.

The project is invested with the goal of building transport infrastructure to develop industry in the eastern part of the province. Given the importance of the project, the investor has focused on accelerating the project's progress in recent times. During the implementation process, the contractor has coordinated with relevant parties and the investor to promptly resolve problems to ensure the set progress.

The project, when completed and put into use, will create favorable conditions for attracting investment in industrial parks and clusters in Go Cong Dong district, contributing to local socio-economic development.
