This special fundraising car wash is only open for 2 days, serving people who need to wash their motorbikes and cars. The car washers are volunteers from Hoa Hiep Bac Ward Youth Union. Although they are not professional, their warm and enthusiastic attitude makes a good impression on passersby.

Passing by the car wash area, seeing the meaningful work, Ms. Huynh Thi Phuong (55 years old, Hoa Hiep Bac ward) stopped to support. "I find this activity very good and practical, washing a motorbike can contribute a little to support disadvantaged students, the amount of money for washing a car is not much, anyone can participate," she said.

This is a meaningful activity to create a fund for "Supporting children to go to school" before the new school year 2024 - 2025. After only 2 days of implementation, Hoa Hiep Bac Ward Youth Union has collected a fund of more than 6 million VND to support children in difficult circumstances.

Immediately after that, the Ward Youth Union and the residential area Youth Unions implemented the award of scholarships to nearly 30 disadvantaged students who have overcome difficulties to study well in the ward. In the coming time, the Ward Youth Union will expand the model, implementing it twice a year in the summer and on the occasion of Lunar New Year. "We hope that this model will continue to be implemented and expanded in residential areas so that more and more disadvantaged children can be supported, contributingto education and spreading a sense of responsibility to the community," said Ms. Le.
