On December 10, the Traffic Police Department of Quang Ngai City Police (Quang Ngai Province) said that in order to completely handle the situation of three-wheeled motorbikes of unknown origin and not meeting safety conditions when participating in traffic, the Traffic Police force will continue to continuously inspect and handle them in the coming time.
In just the first week of December 2023, the Traffic Police force drew up records and temporarily detained 30 three-wheeled motorbikes that did not meet safety conditions when participating in traffic.

Previously, in 2021, Quang Ngai City Police inspected, confiscated and destroyed nearly 150 three-wheeled motorbikes of unknown origin and not meeting safety conditions, contributing to ensuring order and traffic safety in the area.
However, recently, three-wheeled motorbikes have been operating again. These vehicles are mostly "5 no's" (no driver's license, no registration, no license plate, unknown origin, no technical safety assurance). At the same time, transporting large, bulky goods, often violating traffic safety regulations, poses a high risk of traffic accidents.
Authorities destroy three-wheeled motorbikes of unknown origin that do not meet safety conditions when participating in traffic.

Therefore, Quang Ngai City Police recommends that people with three-wheeled motorbikes that do not meet the following conditions, including: no A3 driver's license, no vehicle registration, and license plate issued by a competent authority, are not allowed to use them on the road. If violations are detected, the authorities will confiscate and destroy them according to regulations.
