Writing on social network X, Mr. Elon Musk said that based on the results of the above launches, he will consider a manned spacecraft mission to Mars.
"If all unmanned missions land safely, the manned mission could be launched within the next four years. If we encounter challenges, this plan will have to be postponed for another two years," he wrote.

SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk added that the company will increase the number of spacecraft traveling to Mars. "We want to enable anyone who wants to be an astronaut to go to Mars! That means you, your family or friends – anyone who dreams of a great adventure," he wrote on X.
Earlier this year, billionaire Elon Musk set a goal of landing the first unmanned mission on Mars within five years, followed by the first human landing on Mars within seven years.
Mr. Musk hopes to develop Starship into a multi-purpose new generation launch system that can take people and cargo to the moon by the end of this decade, and eventually fly to Mars.
However, missions involving Starship are currently facing some obstacles. The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) said that the Artemis 3 mission to send humans to the moon using the Starship system has been pushed back from late 2025 to September 2026, Reuters reported on September 22.
Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa also canceled his private plan to use Starship to fly around the moon in June, citing schedule uncertainties in the rocket's development.
