The delegation is expected to be divided into several groups and travel to Vietnam from today, August 27 to September 7, including a 4-night stay in Hanoi and visits to famous destinations such as Ninh Binh and Ha Long Bay. According to Lao Dong's source, billionaire Dilip Shanghvi himself is expected to join the trip with thousands of his employees.

According to the latest report by Forbes India published on August 19, Dilip Shanghvi is currently ranked 5th in the list of richest people in India with an estimated fortune of 28.8 billion USD (about 721,302 billion VND).
With this fortune, he is ranked 61st in the list of the richest people in the world.
In 2015, he surpassed billionaire Mukesh Ambani to become the richest person in India, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
Born in 1955, Dilip Shanghvi is considered one of India's most successful and visionary entrepreneurs. He is the founder and behind the remarkable growth of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. - India's first pharmaceutical corporation estimated to be worth $5 billion (about VND 124,362 billion).
Dilip Shanghvi started his career from scratch by helping his father with a small pharmaceutical business. In 1982, at the age of 27, he founded Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Sun Pharma) with a capital of only 10,000 rupees (nearly 3 million VND) borrowed from his father.
From a small company that produced only one neurology drug, under the leadership of Dilip Shanghvi, Sun Pharma has rapidly grown and become one of the leading pharmaceutical groups in the world. His business strategy focuses on acquiring and merging smaller companies. During its development, Sun Pharma has made more than 15 pharmaceutical acquisitions globally.
One of the most notable deals was the $4 billion merger of rival Ranbaxy Laboratories in 2014. This deal made Sun Pharma the number 1 pharmaceutical company in India and the 5th largest in the world.

Although he has stepped down from direct management, Dilip Shanghvi still holds a prominent role on the board of Sun Pharma. He also holds several other important positions including being a member of the Board of the Reserve Bank of India, Chairman of the Board of Governors of IIT Bombay and a Fellow of the Rhodes Scholarship Programme at the University of Oxford.
In his personal life, Mr. Dilip is a devotee of Lord Shrinathji and regularly makes pilgrimages with his family to the city of Nathdwara in Rajasthan, believed to be the abode of the deity.
According to the Economic Times, a friend once caught billionaire Shanghvi reading Harry Potter on a plane. He is said to have read all seven fantasy novels by British author JK Rowling.
He loves South Indian food. Mysore Cafe and Madras Cafe at Matunga are known to be his favourite eateries in Mumbai.
A teetotaler and vegetarian, Mr Shanghvi is known to be an exceptionally private man, living a simple life without much fanfare. A friend of the billionaire said that Mr Shanghvi, his wife, son Aalok, daughter-in-law and daughter meet at least once a week for dinner. The family is also known to go on vacations together.
