The National Assembly Standing Committee gives opinions on the salary reform roadmap in 2024

At the 27th session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the roadmap for reforming salary policies from July 1, 2024 and preparations for a vote of confidence for people holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly.

On the morning of October 11, the National Assembly Standing Committee opened its 27th session. The session is scheduled to last 4.5 days, from October 11 to 17.

In his opening speech, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said that 12 contents are expected to be considered and prepared for submission to the National Assembly at the 6th Session.

Regarding supervision activities, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the report on the results of supervision of the settlement and response to voters' petitions sent to the 5th Session of the 15th National Assembly; the results of receiving citizens, handling petitions and supervising the settlement of citizens' complaints and denunciations sent to the National Assembly in 2023; and review the report on the National Assembly's petition work in September 2023.

Provide comments on the Government's report on the results of the review of the system of legal documents before submitting it to the National Assembly at the 6th Session as required in Resolution No. 101/2023/QH15 of the National Assembly.

At the same time, review the Government's report on citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement in 2023; provide comments on the draft report synthesizing voters' and people's opinions and recommendations sent to the 6th Session of the National Assembly.

The meeting gave opinions on socio-economic issues such as evaluating the implementation results of the 2023 socio-economic development plan and the expected 2024 socio-economic development plan.

The contents related to budget finance will be commented on at this meeting, including: The implementation of the state budget in 2023, the state budget estimate, the central budget allocation plan in 2024. Including the roadmap for reforming salary policy from July 1, 2024, this content has been commented on by the 8th Central Conference.

At the meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee will also give opinions on the report on the implementation of Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 of the National Assembly on fiscal and monetary policies to support the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program.
