This resulted in import shipments being held at Karachi port beyond the stipulated time, incurring costs and penalties for the port and shipping lines, and being confiscated and auctioned by Pakistan Customs.

According to the Vietnam Trade Office in Pakistan, the country's Customs stipulates that all imported shipments remaining in the port for more than 30 days will be put on the list of confiscated goods for auction.

The Trade Office recommends that all Vietnamese enterprises exporting goods to Pakistan pay attention to shipments with delayed payment, especially after 30 days from the time the goods arrive at Karachi port, and notify the Vietnam Trade Office in Pakistan for coordination in handling.

At the same time, absolutely do not let the costs and fines of the port and shipping line arise and be confiscated and auctioned by Pakistan Customs.
