At the conference, after listening to the leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development report on the results of implementing policies related to developing the marine economy associated with improving the quality of life, material and spiritual life for people, protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands, voters expressed many opinions, raised difficulties, obstacles, some current situations, pressing issues, expressed their thoughts and aspirations, requesting that all levels and functional sectors pay attention, have solutions to improve the effectiveness of management and implementation of policies on developing the marine economy, focusing on the following issues: Investing in infrastructure serving fishing logistics, especially investing in and expanding Dong Hai fishing port; protecting the marine environment and fishing ports; further promoting support policies, especially policies to support fishermen to borrow capital to buy fuel for offshore fishing, capital to invest in aquaculture to improve income and life of people in coastal areas; There needs to be more effective solutions and policies to ensure security and safety for offshore fishermen...

Concluding the conference, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of voters who contributed many opinions and recommendations. He proposed that the Provincial People's Committee receive and synthesize opinions and recommendations, on that basis, draw experience, continue to direct sectors and levels to implement solutions to remove difficulties, obstacles and concerns of voters, improve the effectiveness of policies to support fishermen and coastal residents, and promote the development of the marine economy. In particular, it is necessary to focus on solutions to effectively implement policies to support offshore fishing; policies to convert occupations, in the spirit of Resolution 36 of the Provincial Party Committee to reduce inshore fishing occupations, and minimize the destruction of aquatic resources. Continue to research and implement policies on attracting investment, increasing the capacity to repair and convert boats.

In addition, promote policies for tourism development and high-tech agriculture. Implement well the planning of aquaculture areas, urban, tourism, rural and industrial construction planning. Pay attention to investing in infrastructure serving fisheries logistics; promote the socialization of dredging of fishing ports. Continue to resolutely implement solutions to combat IUU fishing; propagate and mobilize fishermen to overcome the situation of fishing vessels with 3 no's (no registration, no inspection, no license); Voters and fishermen in the province continue to promote the spirit of self-reliance, self-reliance, diligence, creativity, actively contribute to the process of industrialization, modernization of agriculture, rural areas and socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security of the province.
