Standing Committee of Provincial People's Council holds regular meeting in April - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television

- On the afternoon of April 4, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held its regular meeting for April 2025. Comrade Doan Thi Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting.

Leaders of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council reported the contents presented at the meeting.

During the program, delegates reviewed, discussed and commented on reports and contents presented by the Provincial People's Council committees, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council at the meeting. Specifically, ensuring funding for purchasing automobile equipment for border management and protection; reporting on the results of regular monitoring of the implementation of the Rural Transport Development Project of Lang Son province for the period 2021-2025 and the Project on management, exploitation and maintenance of bridges on rural roads of Lang Son province for the period 2026-2030; reporting on the results of regular monitoring of the development and implementation of the VIII power plan in the province; reporting on the results of monitoring Plan No. 61/KH-UBND dated March 4, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on handling and resolving backlog projects, stopping construction, urgently implementing, completing and putting into use to prevent waste and loss; Issue a resolution of the Provincial People's Council stipulating policies to support the application of research results from science and technology tasks in the province; report the results of the review of the List of projects requiring land recovery in 2025; List of projects converting the purpose of using rice-growing land, protective forest land, special-use forest land, and production forest land in 2025; adjust the List of projects requiring land recovery, List of projects converting the purpose of using rice-growing land, protective forest land, special-use forest land, and production forest land approved by the Provincial People's Council in the province.

Comrade Dinh Huu Hoc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, spoke at the meeting.

The delegates also reviewed and commented on the following contents: the plan to organize the question-and-answer session of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council in the second quarter of 2025; the document proposing to temporarily suspend the supervision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council in the second quarter of 2025 on the implementation of legal provisions on recruitment, management and use of public service payroll for the period 2022-2024 in the province; report on the results of regular supervision in the first quarter of 2025; the document of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council on the implementation of policies for nursery children, students and trainees in ethnic minority and mountainous areas andeducational institutions with nursery children and students enjoying policies; summary report on the results of handling petitions up to the end of the first quarter of 2025...

Comrade Doan Thi Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council basically agreed with the contents presented at the meeting. He suggested that the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Council committees should continue to be proactive, uphold the spirit of responsibility, creativity and innovation in organizing the implementation of assigned tasks. At the same time, absorb and supplement the opinions of delegates attending the meeting into the content presented; review and reconsider the draft reports, draft resolutions and documents to ensure progress, efficiency and quality to submit to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council for consideration and decision to issue according to their authority.
