As planned, the 25th session of the 18th term Nghe An Provincial People's Council will take place in 2 days (December 5-6, 2024). At this session, the Provincial People's Council will evaluate and discuss 34 reports of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Council committees; Provincial People's Committee and provincial departments and branches; At the same time, consider and approve 42 important Resolutions related to the implementation of socio-economic, national defense and security tasks of the province.

The meeting will also conduct questions and answers on two main groups of issues, including: the cultural field is solutions to implement the target of the rate of cultural villages, hamlets, and blocks; the rate of communes, wards, and towns with cultural and sports institutions meeting the criteria according to regulations and targets set out in Resolution 18 of the Provincial People's Council; the management of outdoor advertising activities; building a healthy cultural environment associated with the construction, completion, and promotion of the personality and identity of Nghe An people; developing cultural industry in the province.

In the health sector, the Provincial People's Council questioned the implementation of the autonomy mechanism in public hospitals in the province; the situation of drug supply and health insurance medical examination and treatment services for health insurance patients, especially patients with serious illnesses, poor patients, ethnic minority and mountainous areas; the implementation of the target on combating malnutrition in children in the province for the period 2021 - 2025.

Speaking at the press conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Nhu Khoi acknowledged and accepted the opinions of representatives of the offices and resident reporters of the central press agencies located in the area. Many issues raised by the press agencies are being and will be monitored and supervised by the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, and will be summarized and informed to all sectors and levels. The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council hopes that the press agencies and journalists will stay close to the grassroots level, continue to accompany the People's Council in supervising the implementation of issued tasks and resolutions, and promptly reflect the voices of voters and the business community.
