The 2024 International Food Festival will take place on December 7-8 at the Diplomatic Compound (298 Kim Ma, Ba Dinh, Hanoi) with the participation of more than 60 countries and territories.

This year's festival, with the theme "Gastronomy of Unity - Connecting Cuisine", is an opportunity to introduce and promote the culinary culture of various countries, and at the same time, an opportunity to promote and honor the cultural beauty of Vietnam, promote cultural diplomacy, enhance the national image and further expand and promote the spirit of international cooperation.

According to Mr. Hoang Thai Ha, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Diplomatic Service Department, from 2014 to present, the International Food Festival has been held 11 times, creating an international cultural and culinary exchange event, attracting many embassies, foreign cultural centers, international friends, Departments of Foreign Affairs of provinces and cities, businesses, sponsors and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to participate in this event.

With the stature and scale of the Festival, the program is an opportunity to introduce the country and people of Vietnam to international friends, an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to promote their brands, products, business activities and services to international friends as well as program participants...

"This year, the International Food Festival with the theme 'Connecting Cuisine' will not only honor the richness and diversity of global cuisine but also emphasize that cuisine is a common language - where people from different cultures find harmony. Through each dish, we will not only share the quintessence of culinary flavors but also spread stories about the history and traditions of each nation," said Mr. Hoang Thai Ha.

Many elaborate dishes were brought to the 2024 International Food Festival by artisans and "5-star" chefs.

Artisan and culinary expert Le Thi Thiet affirmed that the 2024 International Food Festival is not only a multi-cultural "feast" but also tells attendees emotional stories through culinary dishes from many countries and regions.

"Vietnamese cuisine will be a highlight, showing the elevation with rich flavors of dishes. Thereby, both preserving tradition and being creative to suit international friends. Hopefully each participant will feel the blended flavors, creating connections between cultures through interesting stories about cuisine", artisan Le Thi Thiet shared.

Different from previous years, the 2024 International Food Festival is not only a place to introduce Vietnam's special dishes but also brings a unique culinary experience journey with more than 70 international food stalls from about 60 countries, with elaborate food performances, exciting and vibrant activities of the Beer Festival, game activities to receive gifts from sponsors and countless unique experiences such as: Culinary Passport, Cuisine on a plate, Five Continents Kitchen...
