On April 23, the fine arts exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) opened at the Center for Appraisal and Exhibition of Fine Arts and Photography Works (29 Hang Bai, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi ).

The activity was assigned by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions to preside over, in coordination with the Department of Culture - Arts (Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission), and the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, to demonstrate the significance, great stature, and great value of the Great Spring Victory in 1975, completely liberating the South and unifying the country.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong emphasized that the exhibition introduces works by generations of artists, painters and sculptors who have made many contributions to writing a glorious and brilliant history on the path of building and defending the nation.

Through the techniques and artistic language in paintings and sculptures, art lovers can recall the great victory of our army and people in the resistance war; at the same time, they can more deeply perceive the value and lessons learned from the practical struggles of the nation to add strength and determination in the work of building, working and defending the Fatherland today.
The exhibition introduces 50 works of art of high artistic value, with thematic content related to the Day of Southern Liberation and National Reunification; praising the homeland, the country, and the aspiration to rise up.

Here, the public can enjoy works by many generations of painters, sculptors, and veteran artists who have made many contributions, imprints, and contributions to the fine arts and to the development of Vietnamese fine arts and the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. These include works by sculptor Ta Quang Bao - Ho Chi Minh Prize for Literature and Arts; Colonel, painter Nguyen Quang Tho - State Prize for Literature and Arts; Meritorious Teacher, Painter Nguyen Nghia Duyen - State Prize for Literature and Arts...
In addition, the exhibition has the participation of painters and sculptors with many successful works of art, winning State Awards and awards from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, such as sculptor Hoa Bich Dao, sculptor Dinh Gia Thang, sculptor Nguyen Phu Cuong... and current generation authors who have had success in their artistic creation careers, recognized, such as painter Nguyen Truong Linh, painter Dao Quoc Huy, painter Mai Xuan Oanh...
The exhibition runs until May 8.
