The predecessor of Hai Duong Grinding Stone Joint Stock Company was Hai Duong Grinding Stone Manufacturing Factory, established on November 3, 1966, which was also the first factory in the Vietnamese grinding stone manufacturing industry. In 2003, Hai Duong Grinding Stone Manufacturing Factory was transformed into Hai Duong Grinding Stone Joint Stock Company (DAMAHAD). Since then, the company has focused on investing in modern machinery and technology... to improve production capacity and product quality. Before being honored as a Vietnamese National Brand in 2024, DAMAHAD was voted by consumers as a "Famous Brand", "National Competitive Brand"...
In 2024, DAMAHAD strives to achieve total revenue of 550 billion VND, an increase of about 10% compared to 2023. The company always ensures stable jobs for more than 400 employees, with an average income of over 10 million VND/person/month.
“With the Vietnam National Brand, the company continues to affirm its leading position in the production of grinding stones and abrasive grains in Vietnam. The company's goal is to increase the production of export goods, aiming to export directly to specific markets instead of just commercial exports,” said Mr. Nguyen Huu Bac, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DAMAHAD.
On the basis of restoring the traditional Chu Dau ceramic craft that had been lost for centuries, Chu Dau Ceramic Joint Stock Company (Nam Sach) has quickly developed traditional ceramic product lines that combine the needs of the domestic and international markets.
From more than a dozen initial product models, the company now has over 1,000 product models. Since 2000, the company has supplied the market with an average of 50,000-65,000 products each year, with 25% being exported. That is the basis for Chu Dau Ceramics Joint Stock Company to achieve the Vietnam National Brand for the third consecutive time.

Moreover, it also demonstrates the strong development of Chu Dau Ceramic Joint Stock Company in terms of artistic quality, product diversity, and addition of new materials to meet the needs of domestic and foreign markets,” affirmed Mr. Nguyen Huu Thuc, General Director of Chu Dau Ceramic Joint Stock Company.
Laying the foundation for "made in Hai Duong" products
In June 2016, Minh Phu - Hai Duong Steel Joint Stock Company invested in building a steel pipe factory on 3.6 hectares of land in Tan Truong Industrial Park (Cam Giang) with a total investment of VND 288 billion, with a processing capacity of over 150,000 tons of products/year. In May 2024, Minh Phu - Hai Duong Steel Factory adjusted its capital increase for the third time to expand production and business. Currently, the total registered investment capital of the enterprise reaches VND 528 billion. The factory's production scale according to design is currently 1.3 million tons/year, with products such as rolled steel, galvanized steel pipes, steel structure accessories, etc.
To maintain the Vietnamese National Brand, the company has invested in modern machinery and equipment according to international standards in all stages of production. In particular, the company uses a quality management system that meets ISO 9001-2015 standards and is fully digitized using Barcode and QR code running on specially designed enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. The company always maintains an average growth of over 25%/year.
With Minh Phu galvanized steel pipe products, Minh Phu - Hai Duong Steel Joint Stock Company has just achieved the title of Vietnam National Brand for the third consecutive time. Right from the first years of production and business, the Board of Directors of Long Hai Company Limited in Gia Xuyen Commune (Hai Duong City) focused on building a brand to create competitive strength in the market economy. The company chose to divide customer segments in different markets to assess the suitability of the product, then consider costs and long-term revenue and find ways to build a brand. Despite many difficulties in the international market and increasing raw material prices, in 2024, the company still supplied the market with about 58,000 tons of various types of jelly, with revenue reaching 1,300 - 1,500 billion VND, maintaining an average growth of about 5%/year.
At the annual national customer conference, Long Hai Company Limited collected information and exchanged customers' opinions on products and services. In 2023, the company researched 6 new products with added nutrients, which were initially positively received by consumers. That is how Long Hai Company Limited affirmed its operational efficiency and achieved the title of Vietnam National Brand for the 4th consecutive time.

By making the most of the core values created in the process of maintaining and developing honored products, Hai Duong enterprises continue to affirm their position in the market,” said Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Head of the Trade Management Department (Department of Industry and Trade).
The Vietnam National Brand Program was approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 253/2003/QD-TTg dated November 25, 2003. This is a unique, long-term, and specific trade promotion program of the Government aimed at building and developing the national brand. Thereby, it contributes to affirming the quality and reputation of Vietnamese goods and services, including "made in Hai Duong" goods.
