Russian President Vladimir Putin met with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Sochi, Russia, on September 4. In addition to important issues in bilateral relations, the talks focused on the resumption of the grain deal. Putin said he was ready to restore the grain deal as soon as all commitments to lift restrictions on Russian agricultural exports were fully implemented.
