Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Education and Student Affairs, Ministry of Education and Training, assessed that the Green Voice contest is one of the key "green education" activities, part of the action plan "For a Green Vietnam" implemented nationwide.
Not only a debate contest, Green Voice becomes a healthy and useful playground for students to freely develop, express themselves, and speak up for a green - clean - beautiful Vietnam. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to enhance education, raise awareness of green thinking for students, and disseminate specific and practical actions to protect the environment, towards a green future.
The Deputy Director also emphasized that the success of the Green Voice contest is the result of the joint efforts of teachers and parents, those who have contributed to educating, training, and actively spreading environmental awareness and green living to children right from when they were in school.
Dr. Le Thai Ha, Executive Director of the Green Future Fund (Vingroup Corporation) said that Green Voice is not just a debate contest, it has become a place where students can freely dream, create, and act for noble goals.
The Green Voice Contest season 2 attracted more than 3,000 high school students from 61 out of 63 provinces and cities with more than 2,100 participating ideas.
The Green Voice debate contest season 2 was launched by the Green Future Fund, part of Vingroup Corporation, with the mission of raising public awareness and encouraging action for a sustainable environment.
The total prize value of the contest is up to more than 18.5 billion VND. In addition to the prize, there are also secondary prizes for "School with the highest response" and "School with the contestant winning the first prize". Each prize is worth 100 million VND, awarded in kind with equivalent value.
