From a quick counter-attack, striker Lucas used his speed to eliminate Hanoi's central defender, then defeated Van Hoang with a delicate touch.

It seemed like the match would end with a score of 1-0, but Hanoi FC unexpectedly equalized in the last minute of extra time. When there were only seconds left in the match, striker Hai Long handled the ball with class to score a goal for coach Duc Tuan and his team. He controlled the ball with his chest, then skillfully stroked the ball. The ball went straight into the far corner, leaving goalkeeper Xuan Hoang helpless. Thanh Hoa officially lost the victory after Hai Long's goal.
