To stimulate the demand of Apple fans in the context of economic difficulties, Apple authorized dealers and mobile phone retail stores have recently competed to lower the price of this product line, especially the iPhone 15 Pro Max with the biggest discount, up to 6-7 million VND.
Accordingly, many iPhone users also believe that the listed price of iPhone Pro Max in Vietnam is the lowest compared to other countries in Southeast Asia such as Thailand, Singapore, Philippines...
According to Apple Vietnam's website, the iPhone 15 Pro Max with 512GB capacity costs 40.99 million VND and the 256GB capacity costs 34.99 million VND.
Meanwhile, according to a survey at Apple Stores in some countries in the region such as Thailand, the 512GB iPhone 15 Promax version is being sold for 40.3 million VND (57,900 Baht) and the 256GB is listed for 33.8 million VND (48,900 Baht). In Singapore, the price of the 256GB iPhone 15 Promax is converted to 36.97 million VND, and the 42.9 million VND version, much higher than the listed price in Vietnam.
In some other countries without Apple Stores like Malaysia, the iPhone 15 Pro Max 512GB is listed for only VND 38.9 million and 256GB is VND 33.76 million...
However, that is the listed price announced by Apple in each country, the actual selling price at retail systems is often much lower. Typically, at Topzone stores of Mobile World, the iPhone 15 Pro Max with 512GB capacity is discounted to 37.99 million VND, for 256GB it is 30.99 million VND. The above price does not include the promotion worth 50,000 - 200,000 VND if customers pay via e-wallet. This price has been reduced by 3-4 million VND, equivalent to 11% compared to the price offered by Apple.
Similarly, at CellphoneS, the price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max with 512GB capacity is reduced to 38.99 million VND, 256GB is 30.89 million VND, for the Titan Blue version excluding the store's accompanying promotion worth from 200,000 - 300,000 VND. If you buy in the form of old-for-new exchange, the price can be reduced by another 1-2 million VND. Meanwhile, other color versions are about 1 million VND higher.

In addition, if purchased on e-commerce platforms or livestream sessions of stores, Apple fans can hunt for the 256GB iPhone 15 Pro Max version for only about 28 million VND.
iPhone lock poured into Vietnam
Also related to the most popular iPhone 15 version, the market has recently seen many ads selling the 256GB iPhone 15 Pro Max on shopping sites and social networks with prices ranging from 20 to 22 million VND (6 to 7 million VND cheaper than the price of genuine used devices).
According to an iPhone retail store owner in Thu Duc City, the reason for the surprisingly low price is because it is a locked product (iPhone locked to a foreign network).
"All locked iPhones cannot use the network in Vietnam like genuine devices. Users must buy a sim card to activate the network in Vietnam to use it. However, locked iPhones are prone to Wifi errors, unstable calls, short lifespan and can break suddenly. Buyers need to be careful when buying cheap iPhones" - this person said.
