To ensure that the statistical and counting work is carried out quickly, neatly and transparently, Bao Yen district has established working groups with members being officials in charge of site clearance in the district belonging to the district's professional agencies.
During the counting period, these working groups will work continuously in the locality, coordinate with commune officials, village officials and people's representatives to measure and count land, assets and crops of each household, and at the same time propagate policies and support for compensation and resettlement for people.
The second phase of the Airport Clearance Project will reclaim 75.8 hectares of land, with 107 households expected to be affected by land reclamation, 45 households expected to have their residential land reclaimed and relocated, and 95 households expected to be resettled. The total estimated cost of site clearance is over 122 billion VND.
Previously, in 2023, Bao Yen district launched the Campaign "90 peak days of site clearance for Sa Pa Airport" and "60 days and nights of supporting forces to relocate houses, assets, trees, and crops of households in the Sa Pa Airport Project area to new residences". Thereby, hundreds of households in the project planning area were relocated to the resettlement area, and up to now, people's lives have gradually stabilized.
