Effectively implement solutions to prevent, detect and handle corruption and negativity

In 2023, Party committees, authorities, and internal affairs agencies focused on leading, directing, and implementing well the tasks of national defense and security, maintaining national security, and territorial border sovereignty. Focusing on directing the fight and effectively preventing activities of establishing a "separate state", activities of evil cults, and illegal religious activities. Effectively implementing measures to prevent violations and crimes, especially drug-related crimes and social order, to prevent security and order hotspots from occurring. Coordination between prosecution and judicial support agencies in investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments was ensured to be strict, effective, and in accordance with the law. Judicial reform was directed, consolidated, and improved.

In 2024, Party committees at all levels continue to effectively implement the Party's guidelines, the State's and the province's laws and policies on internal affairs, anti-corruption, anti-negativity and judicial reform. Internal affairs agencies continue to coordinate, proactively grasp the situation, firmly protect territorial sovereignty, national border security, domestic security; promptly advise Party committees and authorities to resolve complex issues from the grassroots, ready to respond to all situations. Effectively implement solutions to prevent corruption; detect and handle negative corruption. Continue to improve the quality of investigation, prosecution and trial work, focusing on the quality of litigation in court; promptly resolve petitions, complaints and denunciations.

Concluding the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong requested Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, leaders of agencies and units to direct the implementation of documents of the Party, the State, and the Provincial Party Committee on internal affairs, anti-corruption, negativity and judicial reform. Focus on leading and directing the timely resolution of outstanding and complicated issues in localities and units. Strengthen coordination in performing tasks, proactively grasp the situation of border security, internal political security, and ideological developments among the people, and avoid being passive or surprised. Proactively develop plans and strategies to absolutely protect key targets, political, economic and social events in the province, focusing on activities commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

Maintain and strictly implement the combat readiness regime; increase cadres and soldiers to the grassroots, grasp the area; launch high-point attacks and suppress all types of crimes, especially drug-related crimes and social order crimes. Strengthen state management to implement policies in ethnic minority and border areas; proactively fight and prevent activities that take advantage of ethnic, religious, democratic and human rights issues to propagate falsely and contrary to the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, and to propagate the establishment of a "separate state"; promptly handle newly arising issues, and prevent the occurrence of hot spots related to ethnicity and religion. Pay attention to developing party members, key religious forces, and prestigious people among ethnic minorities to act as the core of propaganda and mobilization of the people.

Implement well the coordination regulations between Party committees and agencies in performing tasks, especially between agencies conducting proceedings in the investigation, prosecution, trial and settlement of crime reports. Strictly implement the information, reporting and consultation with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on cases and lawsuits according to regulations. The Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negative Matters focuses on directing the thorough and strict handling of corruption and negative matter cases and lawsuits that have been put on the monitoring list. Clarify the causes and conditions for the emergence of corruption and negative matter; the responsibility of the heads of agencies and organizations for corruption and negative matter to occur. Strictly implement the work of receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations; synchronously and effectively deploy judicial reform tasks.
