Implementing revolutionary ethical standards of People's Public Security officers and soldiers in the new period

(LĐ online) - That was the theme of the National Scientific Conference taking place on the afternoon of April 9 in Hanoi connecting with provincial and municipal bridges nationwide, co-organized by the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the Communist Magazine and the National Political Publishing House Truth.

Representatives of the leaders of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Provincial Police, Provincial Radio and Television Station and Lam Dong Newspaper attended the workshop at the Lam Dong provincial bridge.

This is an activity to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the People's Public Security (PPP) studying and implementing Uncle Ho's Six Teachings (March 11, 1948 - March 11, 2025), the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), towards the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam PPP (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

Opening the workshop, Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Toan - Assistant to the Politburo, Minister of Public Security, Director of the Department of Political Work announced the letter of General Secretary To Lam sent to the workshop. The content of the letter clearly stated: Our country is entering a new period, an era of national development with many advantages and new opportunities, but also facing many difficulties and challenges. The task of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety is becoming increasingly important and heavy. To complete the assigned mission, the People's Public Security force needs to be built comprehensively, deeply, and strongly in terms of politics, ideology; organization of cadres, logistics, and techniques. In which, the revolutionary ethical standards of the People's Public Security officers and soldiers are extremely important content to build a politically and ideologically strong People's Public Security.

The Central Public Security Party Committee's coordination in organizing the National Scientific Conference "Implementing the revolutionary ethical standards of public security officers and soldiers in the new period" is a very important and meaningful activity; in line with the requirements and tasks of building the public security force in the new situation. Providing more scientific arguments, deepening theoretical and practical values; supplementing and perfecting the revolutionary ethical standards of public security officers and soldiers in the new period. The success of the conference will make an important contribution to the organization and implementation of Regulation No. 144, dated May 9, 2024 of the Politburo on the revolutionary ethical standards of public security officers and party members in the new period and Resolution No. 12, dated March 16, 2022 of the Politburo on promoting the building of a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern public security force, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

At the workshop, delegates listened to presentations by researchers, scientists, leaders of departments and academies under the Ministry of Public Security and local police units related to issues of general theory on revolutionary ethics and implementation of revolutionary ethics of cadres and party members such as: Promoting the implementation of revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period; Building our Party to be truly clean, worthy of "being a leader, a truly loyal servant of the people".
