In addition to technical measures, raising awareness, along with basic to advanced skills for people is considered one of the leading measures to help prevent the negative impacts of online fraud. When people and vulnerable people master the skills to identify and prevent online fraud, they will be more vigilant, thereby reducing the problem of online fraud that occurs every day.
Preventing fraud in cyberspace is not only the responsibility of state management agencies but also the responsibility of the whole society. Self-protection in cyberspace is a never-ending journey, requiring constant vigilance and effort. Each person needs to grasp the necessary knowledge and skills to become a safe and smart user in cyberspace.
The campaign focuses on disseminating knowledge and skills on identifying and preventing online fraud, raising awareness and knowledge for people through 5 main skill groups, including: Identification skills, detection skills, handling skills, prevention skills and protection skills.
