On the afternoon of October 9, in Sa Pa town (Lao Cai), Thanh Hoa City Tourism Association, Nghe An Province Tourism Association, Ha Tinh Province Tourism Association and Lao Cai Province Tourism Association jointly organized a conference to promote tourism in Lao Cai - Thanh Hoa - Nghe An - Ha Tinh.

In recent years, Sa Pa town in particular, Lao Cai province in general, has become a familiar destination for visitors from the North Central provinces. Along with majestic scenery, unique ethnic cultural identity and typical climate, Sa Pa town also has the advantage of being located on the economic corridor of Kunming - Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh; is the center of the East - Northwest belt of Vietnam. In particular, with a convenient infrastructure system, in recent years Sa Pa has increasingly attracted the attention of many travel businesses from Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces.

The units participating in the conference also focused on discussing, sharing experiences and proposing policies to promote cooperation and support tourism promotion and development, creating attractive value chains in the coming time.

Speaking at the conference, the representative of Sa Pa town's leadership affirmed that the growth in the number of visitors to Sa Pa town in particular and Lao Cai in general in recent years has had the positive contribution of travel agencies from the North Central provinces. In order to further enhance tourism promotion and advertising activities between localities, especially the connection between tourism agencies of Sa Pa town and Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces, first of all, travel agencies must proactively discuss and reach an agreement to best meet the needs of tourists... Along with that, localities in the linkage journey need to closely coordinate with Sa Pa and Lao Cai tourism to continue implementing tours and tourism routes that have been and are cooperating. In particular, the parties need to research, develop and diversify new tour programs, routes and tourism products to attract visitors.
