Promoting land auction progress in 2025

Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

Of which, the old tourist market land in Thang Tam ward, Vung Tau city has been auctioned twice but failed due to lack of participants; the urban area 3/2 of Vung Tau city is expected to be auctioned on April 26. The remaining land plots are waiting for approval of the auction plan, specific price, starting price, and 1/500 planning.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Tho requested relevant units to review the procedures related to land prices to avoid bottlenecks in the progress of land auctions; at the same time, assign the Department of Finance and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to preside over reviewing the implementation process, advising the Provincial People's Committee to work with consulting units to unify the land price determination process, thereby promoting land auctions in 2025 as planned.
