On the afternoon of May 29, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Do Hung Viet received Thai Ambassador Urawadee Sriphiromya for a courtesy visit on the occasion of his appointment as Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Vietnam.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister Do Hung Viet congratulated Ms. Urawadee on her appointment as Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Vietnam; affirmed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will create favorable conditions for the Ambassador to fulfill her role as a bridge of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Deputy Foreign Minister Do Hung Viet suggested that the Ambassador coordinate to promote the Vietnam-Thailand relationship to develop more strongly in the coming time; especially in the fields of economy, trade, investment, tourism, education, transportation, energy; soon concretize the development goals within the framework of the "Three Connections" initiative and develop the idea of "six countries, one destination".
Ambassador Urawadee Sriphiromya affirmed his efforts to actively contribute to further strengthening the Vietnam - Thailand Strategic Partnership.
The Thai Ambassador highly appreciated the good development of Vietnam - Thailand relations; affirmed his efforts during his term to actively contribute to further strengthening the Vietnam - Thailand Strategic Partnership, especially in the fields of connecting businesses, localities, culture, education and people-to-people exchange.
The two sides also discussed a number of important foreign affairs activities in the coming time, including coordination in preparation for the official visit to Vietnam by Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, combined with the 4th joint Cabinet meeting of the two countries./.
