At the conference, businesses and leaders of both sides exchanged ideas to enhance tourism cooperation between India and Khanh Hoa province in the coming time.
Along with that, promoting the opening of a direct flight route from Cam Ranh to India, to create favorable conditions to support citizens of the two countries to travel; acting as a bridge between tourism businesses and experts from both sides.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tushar Garg, Deputy Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, said that this conference is an important part of the Vietnam Namaste Festival 2024, a cultural event to strengthen relations between India and Vietnam.
Including the tourism conference in the festival demonstrates the commitment of both sides in promoting tourism cooperation between the two countries, especially between India and Khanh Hoa province.

At the conference, Head of Indian Tour Operator Abhineet Shukla asked about the capacity, room capacity, and accompanying services of Khanh Hoa province when welcoming Indian tourists.
Responding, Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, said: “The number of 5-star hotels, tourist destinations, resorts... in Khanh Hoa can completely meet all the needs from quality to quantity that Indian tourists require. At the same time, the road, rail, waterway and air transport systems in Khanh Hoa are all very convenient to connect with other provinces and localities in Vietnam”.

Head of the delegation Abhineet Shukla also shared: “India has its own unique culture, especially cuisine, so tourists are quite confused about what to eat when coming to Vietnam. However, Khanh Hoa and Vietnam have wonderful scenery, an ideal place to organize big events. Many Indian businessmen have come here to organize wedding parties, or big events for many days. Surely in the future, Khanh Hoa in particular and Vietnam in general, will be the top choice of Indian people when traveling abroad.”
According to Mr. Abhineet Shukla, the current limitations lie in cultural differences between the two countries, and there are not many direct flights from Vietnam to India.
Cultural exchange and understanding between the two countries needs to be further promoted. In addition, there needs to be marketing cooperation between Khanh Hoa and Indian businesses, so that they can jointly develop a tourism promotion strategy and reach the right customer segments.

Mr. Le Huu Hoang, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee shared that the province was delighted to welcome the Indian delegation including 13 famous film producers, actors, singers, and 26 representatives of Indian travel companies to visit, survey and promote the province's cultural heritages, landscapes and typical tourist destinations and services, and inaugurate the Indian Corner at Khanh Hoa University.
These are very meaningful activities, contributing to enhancing understanding and cooperation between Khanh Hoa province and India.
