Labor supply enterprises assess that labor cooperation with Europe faces some difficulties such as: insufficient information about the European labor market, low expertise and skills of Vietnamese workers, not meeting the high labor standards of European countries, geographical distance, language and cultural barriers, and fierce competition for labor supply from other countries.
Vietnamese embassies in Europe also assessed the need to promote the signing of labor agreements between the two countries' authorities to create a legal basis for cooperation. Currently, only Germany and Romania have agreements while other countries in the region either have no cooperation or cooperation stops at the level of small-scale contracts between businesses of the two countries without specific regulations at the level of authorities.
In the spirit of “taking people and businesses as the center of service”, with the motto of seeking knowledge, the workshop listened to the sharing of ministries, branches, Vietnamese Embassies, European Embassies in Vietnam and enterprises training and supplying human resources in order to have a new approach to improve the effectiveness of sending Vietnamese people to work in Europe as well as promote this cooperation in the bilateral relations between Vietnam and European countries.
At the workshop, leaders of the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs agreed that in the coming time, they will effectively implement labor export policies, maintain and develop sustainable cooperation, and ensure the rights of workers .
