The Ho Chi Minh City International Food and Beverage Exhibition - HCMC FOODEX 2025 offers businesses the opportunity to find partners and promote international trade.


More than 500 booths from nearly 400 businesses are expected to participate.

On March 18th, a press conference was held in Ho Chi Minh City to provide information about the HCMC FoodEX 2025 International Food and Beverage Exhibition, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Trade and Investment Promotion Center in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Food and Beverage Association and CIS Vietnam Advertising & Exhibition Joint Stock Company.

Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Tran Phu Lu, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Trade and Investment Promotion Center (ITPC), emphasized: Following the success of the previous three exhibitions, HCMC FOODEX 2025, with the theme "Sustainable Green Natural Products," will be held from April 16 to 19, 2025, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

The exhibition features approximately 500 booths from nearly 400 domestic and international businesses, organizations, and associations. Within the exhibition space, participating businesses will showcase and introduce products in the following categories: raw and semi-processed food products; highly processed products, spices, food additives, beverages; raw materials and auxiliary materials; and production, packaging, and preservation technologies. Notably, the exhibition includes participation from businesses from South Korea, Japan, China, Malaysia, and other countries, creating a vibrant trading environment.

Notably, this year's HCMC FOODEX is marked by the participation of many large enterprises in the industry, from reputable food brands such as: Cholimex Food Joint Stock Company, Saigon Agricultural Corporation, Saigon Trading Corporation, Binh Tay Food Joint Stock Company, Hai Nam Trading and Manufacturing Company Limited, Sa Ky Food Joint Stock Company, International Flour Joint Venture Company, Nosafood Joint Stock Company, Long Son Joint Stock Company, Bao Hung International Joint Stock Company, Ba Vi Dairy Joint Stock Company, Good Day Hospitality Joint Stock Company, etc.

“Not only does HCMC FOODEX 2025 bring together big names in the food industry, it also welcomes many businesses participating for the first time, offering groundbreaking solutions in equipment, materials, packaging, and processing technology,” Mr. Tran Phu Lu informed.

In addition, the exhibition will showcase many new and promising food products, from confectionery, milk, butter, processed foods, etc. The combination of technology, raw materials, and processed products at HCMC FOODEX 2025 will create an innovative exhibition space, providing opportunities for cooperation for businesses in the food supply chain.

This year's exhibition will also focus on showcasing clean, organic, and environmentally friendly products, contributing to raising awareness of a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. In particular, HCMC FOODEX 2025 will be a platform for presenting innovative technological solutions and initiatives applied in food production and supply chains.

Promoting international trade - participating more deeply in supply chains.

According to the organizers, as of now, more than 100 domestic and international buyers from 15 countries have confirmed their attendance and business dealings at the exhibition. A highlight this year is the participation of buyers from the Horeca (hotels, restaurants, and food services) channel.

Notably, over 1,000 networking appointments will be arranged during the four days of the exhibition. Each appointment is tailored to the business needs of participating companies, ensuring a high level of relevance and maximizing business outcomes.

In particular, the business networking program, taking place throughout the exhibition days, will include meetings and working sessions between businesses and leading distributors from Vietnam and internationally: AEON, Lotte, Central Retail, SATRA, Saigon Co.op“This is an unmissable opportunity for manufacturers, distributors, investors, and consumers to explore new trends in the food industry, seek business opportunities, and expand their domestic and international networks,” emphasized the Director of the ITPC Center.

Furthermore, within the framework of HCMC FOODEX 2025, to support businesses in updating the latest information on trends in production, consumption, and potential export markets, the program will organize a series of side activities such as thematic workshops, providing in-depth knowledge and practical solutions to help businesses adapt to market trends, comply with international regulations, and optimize development opportunities in 2025.

The Ho Chi Minh City International Food and Beverage Exhibition 2024 welcomed over 18,000 visitors who came to explore products and learn about the food and beverage manufacturing businesses participating in the exhibition.

The highlight of HCMC FOODEX 2025 is the Master Chef of FOODEX competition with the theme "The Quintessence of Vietnamese Cuisine," bringing together renowned chefs and a team of professional judges from many countries such as Vietnam, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the United States. With diverse competition categories throughout the four days of the exhibition, the competition is not only a platform to showcase talent but also to celebrate creativity and top-level culinary skills.

The program aims to combine the promotion and connection of Vietnamese agricultural products through culinary culture, creating an effective and impressive approach for visitors. At the same time, it contributes to highlighting the traditional and modern values ​​of Vietnamese cuisine, as well as creating opportunities for exchange, cooperation, and development in the culinary and food industry.

The food processing industry in Ho Chi Minh City is one of the city's four key priority industries, accounting for approximately 32% of the city's total industrial production value. The industry has gradually shifted towards in-depth development, with many high-quality, reputable branded products dominating the domestic market, replacing imports, and being exported to many countries worldwide.
