Promote exchanges with the Vietnamese community in Korea

NDO - The 7th Korea-Vietnam Cultural Exchange Festival "We Are Together" is held to strengthen the friendly relationship between Korea and Vietnam, and at the same time promote sustainable exchange with the Vietnamese community in Korea.

Towards the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Korea diplomatic relations, the 7th Korea-Vietnam Cultural Exchange Festival named “We Are Together” will be held on May 3 and 4 at the Outdoor Theater No. 1, Suwon City, Korea.

The festival aims to bring the Vietnamese community in Korea a space to meet, exchange, and participate in unique cultural and artistic activities; at the same time, it is an opportunity to convey Vietnamese culture to Korea.

This year, the festival includes special cultural activities with the participation of the public and artists of the two countries. Among them are famous Vietnamese singers such as Cara Phuong, ST Son Thach, Ai Phuong, (S) TRONG Trong Hieu.

On the Korean side, there are singers Lyn and Punch, famous for their TV drama soundtracks. At the event, the artists will perform hit songs such as My Destiny (from the movie Why Did You Come Here), Stay with me (from the movie Goblin), Every time (from the movie Descendants of the Sun)...

In particular, since the festival takes place right before Korean Children’s Day on May 5, special activities for families and children will also be held. At 3 p.m. on May 3 and 4, there will be bubble magic shows and bubble art performances for children.

At the press conference on the afternoon of April 23, a representative of DB Insurance Company - the event organizer shared: "This 'We Are Together' festival is an opportunity for Vietnamese people living in Korea, along with those who love Korean-Vietnamese culture, to meet and enjoy meaningful moments. The organizers expect this year's festival to attract many participants, especially international students."

Held for the first time in 2017 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Festival has received enthusiastic response from the people of both countries through rich cultural activities and performances.
