In 2024, Thuan Bac district received 9,347 million VND in public capital, of which 21.3 million VND was transferred from 2023, 5,059 million VND was allocated in 2024; adjusted capital was 4,266.6 million VND according to Resolution No. 111/2024/QH15 of the National Assembly on a number of specific mechanisms and policies to implement national target programs. The district People's Committee allocated capital to the People's Committees of communes for implementation, in the form of supporting breeding animals, livestock, and creating livelihoods for the poor.
Up to now, Thuan Bac district has disbursed 4,808/9,347 million VND, reaching 51.4% of the plan of Sub-project 2. The whole district has 161 poor households in ethnic minority areas receiving financial support to buy livestock breeds, including the following communes: Phuoc Khang supported breeding female goats for 25 households with an amount of 964 million VND; Loi Hai supported breeding cows for 20 households with an amount of 399 million VND; Cong Hai supported breeding cows for 32 households with an amount of 647 million VND; Bac Son supported breeding cows for 48 households with an amount of 1,450 million VND; Phuoc Chien supported breeding cows for 36 households with an amount of 1,438 million VND.
From now until the end of 2024, Thuan Bac district will continue to disburse 4,266.6 million VND to support livestock breeding for poor ethnic minority households. The capital is allocated to the following communes: Loi Hai 456.6 million VND; Cong Hai 810 million VND; Phuoc Chien 1,000 million VND; Phuoc Khang 1,000 million VND; Bac Son 1,000 million VND.
Mrs. Chamaléa Thi Loan in Phuoc Chien commune said: My family is a poor household, farming on the land and living on rainwater, life is very difficult. I am happy to have just received financial support from the National Target Program 1719 to buy two good cows, and the commune agricultural staff has provided guidance on care techniques and disease prevention. These two cows have helped my family have the conditions to do business and escape poverty sustainably.
