Losing to U17 Uzbekistan, U17 Vietnam was eliminated from the 2023 U17 Asian tournament

To pass the group stage, U17 Vietnam must beat U17 Uzbekistan and wait for a favorable result from the match between U17 Japan and U17 India. However, coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his students failed to achieve the necessary conditions.

U17 Uzbekistan showed their superiority in the first half. The Central Asian team dominated the ball possession with a rate of over 70%. U17 Uzbekistan players pressed the field and continuously made attacks on the flanks, putting U17 Vietnam under great pressure.
