Making Dong Nai the leading developing province in the country The planning of Dong Nai province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 586/QD-TTg dated July 3, 2024, sets the goal that by 2030, Dong Nai will become a civilized, modern, high-growth province, surpassing the high-income threshold in the top group of the country; by 2050, it will become a centrally-run city, leading in the development of high-tech industry... The planning identifies 5 development breakthroughs: Infrastructure with the highlight being Long Thanh International Airport, green industrial parks, innovation centers, urban projects, tourism, and high-class resort services; Organizing the province's development space according to 3 functional areas with 3 socio-economic regions in the West, East and North, including 2 areas with a driving role: Long Thanh airport urban area, Dong Nai river corridor. The spatial connection of Dong Nai province is built on the basis of developing 6 corridors and 3 belts; focusing on attracting investment to develop 3 key economic sectors: industry, services, agriculture, forestry, fishery... At the Conference, Dong Nai introduced its potentials, strengths, advantages, investment attraction policies and announced a list of investment attraction projects in various fields. Dong Nai affirms to continue to make efforts and be highly determined to synchronously implement many solutions, focusing on administrative reform, improving the investment environment, improving the quality of human resources, promoting investment promotion, etc. The business community assesses that Dong Nai province is always a dynamic locality in socio-economic development, persistently pursuing the goal of sustainable development, selectively attracting investment, strengthening administrative reform, improving the effectiveness of state management activities to support businesses to develop together. Solid foundation, determination to overcome limitations to rise up Regarding the key tasks and solutions in the coming time, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested Dong Nai to ensure compliance and synchronization in organizing the implementation of planning; in accordance with the national master plan, regional planning, and sectoral planning. At the same time, promote site clearance for projects, especially infrastructure projects; always innovate thinking, development vision, exploit and promote historical and cultural traditions; promote public-private partnership, taking public investment as the leading factor in private investment; continue to promote strategic infrastructure investment, especially transport, urban, health, education, social infrastructure, and climate change response.

The Prime Minister requested Dong Nai to effectively promote the province's three economic driving forces, allocate resources to synchronously and effectively implement development space; develop spearhead industries, high-tech industries, transform industrial parks towards green, digital, and circular; strengthen regional, national and international connectivity, promote the role and position of Dong Nai as one of the important trading centers of the Southeast region; exploit Long Thanh International Airport, Bien Hoa dual-use airport as a driving force to develop services into an important economic sector. Along with that, Dong Nai must promote administrative procedure reform, improve the investment and business environment; strive to further improve ranking indexes such as PAPI, PCI... The province prepares well for calling projects to welcome investors, especially large and potential investors; strengthens environmental protection, nature protection, biodiversity conservation associated with proactive prevention and control of natural disasters, adaptation to climate change; Establish biodiversity corridors; protect biodiversity conservation facilities; strengthen forest planting, protection and management, and pay attention to protecting biosphere reserves.
