Prime Minister returns to Hanoi, successfully concluding his working trip to China

According to the special correspondent of the Vietnam News Agency, on the evening of November 8, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation returned to Hanoi, successfully concluding their working trip to China to attend the 8th Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Summit, the 10th Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS) Summit, the 11th Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar-Vietnam (CLMV) Summit and a working visit to China.

During his four-day working trip from November 5 to 8 in Yunnan province and Chongqing city of China, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a very rich, diverse, comprehensive, substantive, and effective working program, both multilateral and bilateral, including attending and speaking at the GMS 8, ACMECS 10, and CLMV 11 conferences; meeting with leaders of countries attending the conferences such as the Lao Prime Minister and the Cambodian Prime Minister; meeting with Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang; and working with leaders of Chinese localities such as Yunnan, Chongqing, and Guangxi.

The Prime Minister also visited relics where President Ho Chi Minh carried out revolutionary activities; met with the Vietnamese community in China; attended cultural and tourism festivals promoting the image of Vietnam, its land and people; attended business forums; received leading Chinese enterprises, especially in the fields of infrastructure, energy, and aviation; visited the Chongqing Logistics Center...

The Prime Minister's working trip left a strong impression, with important contributions to building solidarity, implementing cooperation priorities, towards a region of rapid and sustainable development; at the same time continuing to concretize agreements, consolidate and promote friendly neighborly relations, the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership and the "Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future of Strategic Significance" to develop more deeply, comprehensively and sustainably./.
