Before leaving Korea, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited Samsung Group's semiconductor complex in Gyeonggi Province (Korea) and a Korean-Vietnamese multicultural family.
On the evening of July 3 (local time), the Prime Minister and his wife, along with the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, left Seoul, successfully concluding their official visit to Korea.
There are currently 80,000 Vietnamese - Korean multicultural families.

The Prime Minister and his wife visited the family of Jang Yeong Gak and Vu Thai Linh, a multicultural Vietnamese-Korean family in Osan City, Gyeonggi Province. The Prime Minister was delighted to witness the warm, happy, successful, and progressive life of Jang Yeong Gak and Vu Thai Linh, as well as the Vietnamese children living, working, and studying in Korea. According to him, the relationship between the Vietnamese and Korean people began nearly 800 years ago, when Prince Ly Long Tuong left Dai Viet for Korea. Through ups and downs and breakthroughs, the relationship between Vietnam and Korea has never been as good as it is today.

In Korea, there are nearly 300,000 Vietnamese people working, studying and living, and about 200,000 Koreans working and living in Vietnam; the two countries have up to 80,000 Vietnamese-Korean multicultural families. Emphasizing that Vietnamese people in Korea, especially Vietnamese-Korean multicultural families, are the bridges that foster the relationship between the two countries and peoples, the Prime Minister hopes that Korean-Vietnamese families in Korea in particular will continue to unite, work hard, study, research, do business, and build a beautiful life. In addition, preserving the cultural beauty that the two countries have many similarities in, complying with local laws, behaving culturally, contributing to promoting the image of the country, culture, and people of Vietnam and fostering increasingly good Vietnam-Korea relations. Previously, the Prime Minister visited and worked at the Samsung Group's Semiconductor Complex in Gyeonggi Province. Samsung Vice Chairman and CEO Young Hyun Jun, Sasung Chief Financial Officer Hark Kyu Park and senior leaders accompanied the Prime Minister to visit Samsung Group's semiconductor product models.

Semiconductors are core technologies, along with other technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI)... playing an essential role in the development of science, technology and the global economy , especially in the era of the 4th industrial revolution. Samsung has focused on investing in the development of the semiconductor industry, providing foundation products for electronic devices, microchips, and other electronic components, widely used in all areas of life, from smartphones, computers, to automobiles and medical equipment... Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his impression when witnessing the achievements of Samsung Group in the field of high technology in general and semiconductors in particular, contributing to the improvement in the quality of life of billions of people around the world. The head of the Government also acknowledged the effective investment and business activities of Samsung Group in the fields of manufacturing industry, producing electronic equipment and components in Vietnam over the past nearly 20 years. The government will create favorable conditions for Samsung to continue doing business in Vietnam.

Regarding Vietnam's priority to promote the semiconductor and AI industries in the coming period, the Prime Minister said that Vietnam welcomes and encourages investors in semiconductor and AI technology, while promoting the ecosystem for these fields. Vietnam will perfect its policies and institutions, train high-quality human resources, develop infrastructure, and best serve corporations investing in developing the semiconductor industry.
