On the afternoon of November 8, in Chongqing City (China), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited the Hong Nham historical site, associated with the activities of President Ho Chi Minh and Chinese revolutionaries.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh heard an introduction to Thach Ban Street, Dai Huu Farm, the grass house, and the old relic site of Nhieu Quoc Mo Revolutionary House - names associated with the activities of revolutionary predecessors such as Chairman Mao Zedong, Prime Minister Zhou Enlai, and President Ho Chi Minh.

The Prime Minister also visited the relics of the office of the Central Southern Bureau of the Communist Party of China and the Eighth Route Army in Chongqing; visited the Hongyan Revolutionary Memorial Hall - a place that displays and stores many artifacts about the past revolutionary activities of Communist leaders such as Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai of China and especially President Ho Chi Minh of Vietnam. On the second floor of the Hongyan Revolutionary Memorial Hall, separated from the former living and working rooms of Chairman Mao Zedong and Premier Zhou Enlai, is the room where President Ho Chi Minh, with the alias Ho Quang, lived and carried out revolutionary activities during the period of 1939-1940. The room preserves many simple items such as a single bed, a set of desks and chairs, a bookshelf and a few other objects. Outside the room hangs a picture frame with a picture of Uncle Ho and a typewriter that he used to use regularly. Also on the afternoon of November 8, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended a program introducing Vietnamese culture and tourism. On average, there are about 330 flights between Vietnam and China each week. Tourism routes between the two countries are increasingly vibrant, products are constantly being supplemented with a variety of destinations, affordable prices, meeting many market segments. In 2023, Vietnam welcomed 1.75 million Chinese visitors; and in the first 9 months of 2024 alone, it welcomed 2.7 million Chinese visitors. Vietnam is also among the 5 foreign markets sending the most visitors to China, with 7.9 million visitors. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that cultural and tourism cooperation is important, contributing to elevating the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, building a Community of Shared Future Vietnam - China with strategic significance with the connotation of "6 more". In particular, with the third content "deeper substantive cooperation", cultural-tourism cooperation is a bright spot in bilateral relations. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of culture. Vietnam and China both have rich historical and cultural traditions; there are many similarities in cultural development on the path to building socialism. Tourism development is also closely linked to cultural development. These two fields are linked, complemented, supported, and enhanced, creating conditions, motivation, and inspiration for each other to develop together. In the coming time, China will remain Vietnam's largest tourism market. The Prime Minister called on businesses of the two countries to promote cooperation, connect culture and tourism, and implement specific and practical cooperation programs and projects to contribute to promoting cultural and tourism cooperation between Vietnam and China. This morning, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with Secretary of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee Yuan Jiajun. The Prime Minister affirmed that Vietnam attaches importance to developing relations with China, supports and is ready to create all favorable conditions for Vietnamese ministries, branches, and localities to expand and strengthen cooperation with Chongqing City. Chongqing Party Secretary Yuan Jiajun said that Vietnam has been the largest trading partner for the past five consecutive years and the largest investment destination of Chongqing in ASEAN. Yuan Jiajun highly appreciated the establishment of the Vietnamese Consulate General in Chongqing, believing that it will be an important bridge in promoting cooperation between Vietnam and Chongqing in particular and with the western region of China in general... The Prime Minister suggested that the city create favorable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to effectively exploit the China-Europe international railway, export Vietnamese goods to third countries; import more high-quality Vietnamese goods.
