On the evening of January 19, local time, in the capital Prague, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife, along with a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, visited Sapa Trade Center and Tamda Trade Center - two trade centers invested by Vietnamese people in the Czech Republic.
Sapa Trade Center covers an area of over 40 hectares, considered a "miniature Vietnam" in Europe, this center quickly became a bustling business location and cultural center of the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic. The center concentrates retail stores, food services, insurance, settlement consulting, and offices, with traditional dishes such as pho, bun cha, banh cuon, and fresh food similar to those in Vietnam. Currently, Sapa Center has more than 1,000 stalls, serving the business needs of about 10,000 Vietnamese people.

At Sapa Trade Center, Sapa Vietnamese Language Center is maintained. Over the past 22 years, the Center has popularized Vietnamese for thousands of children born and raised in the Czech Republic to read, write, and speak Vietnamese fluently, based on textbooks from the Ministry of Education and Training or self-compiled by teachers. Currently, there are 4 classes held on 2 weekends. The classes have different levels. The Center also teaches Vietnamese to foreigners and to Vietnamese children with congenital disabilities.
Due to the fact that the children usually have to go to Czech schools, learning Vietnamese is still limited, requiring families and associations to encourage and help their children participate more. The Center hopes to receive more attention from the Party and State, both materially and spiritually, for the movement of learning and teaching Vietnamese abroad.
Kindly visiting teachers and students at the Center, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested increasing the teaching of Vietnamese to the children, contributing to educating them about love for the Fatherland and family, and preserving the cultural values and heroic historical traditions of the nation.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Vietnamese is a bridge between the previous generation and the next; noted that in addition to learning knowledge, teachers need to teach culture, history, folk songs, etc.; teaching Vietnamese needs to have new forms, and there needs to be a suitable program for children who are also studying in Czech schools from Monday to Friday every week.
In particular, the Center needs to research and establish an online channel to teach Vietnamese, with fixed time slots, so that children can study at home, convenient for their families, so that "every day learning Vietnamese is a happy day" for the children; organize classes at different time slots to increase coverage, so that more children can study because there are places and countries where it is impossible to establish a center to teach Vietnamese.
The Prime Minister noted that the Center and teachers need to pay attention to creating excitement, interest, and having more attractive extracurricular activities to attract children to study; hoping that teachers will continue to dedicate themselves, make efforts, and be passionate about teaching Vietnamese, and that children will continue to try to study, achieve good results, be good children, good students to become useful people in society.

Next, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited Tamda supermarket belonging to Tamda Group - a Vietnamese-owned enterprise specializing in the field of food supply and business real estate, including 7 member companies, including the Tamda Foods wholesale and retail supermarket chain in 3 major cities of the Czech Republic, welcoming tens of thousands of customers every day.
Pleased with the development of the enterprise, abundant goods, competitive prices, spacious and clean facilities, demonstrating the maturity of the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that the Group continue to do business systematically, expand the model to many other cities in the Czech Republic and European countries; coordinate to build Vietnamese brands to supply the Czech and European markets, with high quality, beautiful designs, competitive prices, stable supply, in the direction of diversifying products and diversifying the supply chain.
Praising Tamda Group for opening the Tamda Media channel in Vietnamese, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested the Group to coordinate with ministries, branches and domestic agencies to organize this information channel to be smooth, rich and useful 24/7. In particular, along with information about the activities of the community and the host country, the domestic situation, introducing and promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam, the channel must strengthen communication of policies, laws, culture and entertainment; improve the spiritual life and cultural enjoyment for the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic in particular and Europe in general.
