On January 26, in Ngoc Lac district, Thanh Hoa province, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presented gifts to policy families, poor households, workers and laborers in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
Reporting to the Prime Minister, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan said that during the Lunar New Year, the province paid preferential allowances for January and February 2025 to more than 64,000 people with revolutionary contributions and their relatives, with a total cost of more than 420 billion VND.

The province also paid social allowances in January 2025 to 187,494 beneficiaries and households caring for and nurturing social protection beneficiaries, with a total budget of more than 142 billion VND; provided care, treatment, ensured good policies and regimes, and organized Tet and spring activities for more than 2,000 people being cared for, nurtured, and managed at social assistance facilities, nursing facilities for people with revolutionary contributions, and public drug rehabilitation facilities in the area.
Provincial levels and sectors have allocated budgets and mobilized socialized resources with a total amount of money and goods worth more than 375 billion VND to give to policy families, poor households, and people in difficult circumstances...

Speaking here, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh assessed that in 2024, Thanh Hoa province achieved many comprehensive achievements in all fields with a double-digit economic growth rate, among the leading provinces in the country.
The Prime Minister requested Thanh Hoa province to closely follow the direction of the Central Government and the Prime Minister to take care of Tet for the people, especially in remote, isolated and extremely disadvantaged areas, families, policy beneficiaries and families in difficult circumstances with the spirit of not leaving any household without a chance to celebrate Tet.
Party committees and authorities need to pay attention to and care for the lives of workers in industrial parks, arrange visits and encourage workers working at construction sites to promote labor competition and production at the beginning of the year.

At the same time, the province focuses on eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, and by 2025, there will be no more temporary or dilapidated houses; building houses for workers and low-income people, ensuring that people can "settle down and have a career".
