The above content was mentioned by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh when speaking at the online conference summarizing the work in 2024 and deploying key tasks in 2025 of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector on the morning of December 18.

Emphasizing that 2025 is a year of special importance, the Prime Minister said that efforts must be made to achieve results higher than the set target, especially GDP growth of about 8%, and all ministries, sectors and localities must follow this spirit, including the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector.

One of the key tasks and solutions of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector in the coming time mentioned by the Prime Minister is to build advanced examples, replicate good models, good practices, create movements and development trends...

" Why don't we summarize and expand the two recent concerts? Why have women's soccer and women's volleyball achieved such success? Why do tourism have such attractive destinations? ", the Prime Minister asked. The two concerts mentioned by the Prime Minister, "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai" and "Anh trai say hi", were also mentioned by many delegates earlier at the conference.

In addition, the head of the Government requested to create institutional breakthroughs in the direction of resolutely abandoning the mindset of "if you can't manage, then ban", resolutely eliminating the "ask - give" mechanism; promoting decentralization, delegation of power, cutting and simplifying administrative procedures associated with digital transformation...

The Prime Minister noted that training high-quality human resources for the industry, having specific mechanisms and policies suitable for the arts and sports industries, having policies to retain talented people, motivating talented and passionate people, and encouraging those who dare to think, dare to do, dare to innovate and create, and dealing with those who avoid and fear responsibility.

Along with that is mobilizing resources for development through appropriate mechanisms and policies, especially public-private partnership, taking the lead from State capital, activating all social resources of people and businesses.

According to the Prime Minister, in addition to existing resources such as finance, land, and human resources, institutions, mechanisms, and policies are also measures to mobilize resources. Therefore, it is necessary to actively think and propose policies to promote the diverse forms of public-private partnership, there is still a lot of room to exploit cultural institutions, especially stadiums such as My Dinh...

" We have a national target program on cultural development, but if we only rely on state resources, it will be very difficult to develop. Developing the culture, sports and tourism sector, the cultural industry, and the entertainment industry must mobilize public-private partnership resources, social resources, and business resources ," said the Prime Minister.

Also according to the Prime Minister's request, it is necessary to create opportunities and mechanisms for Vietnamese people to enjoy the fruits of culture, sports and tourism.

The Prime Minister directed the industry to accelerate and make breakthroughs with innovative thinking, strategic vision, foresight, deep thinking, great action, promoting intelligence, courage, valuing time, being decisive and resolute to effectively organize and implement the set goals, tasks and solutions, with results in 2025 higher than in 2024.

The Prime Minister noted that cultural development is the internal strength, the soul of the nation; developing the sports industry to improve people's physical strength and health. In particular, mass sports must be developed in breadth, but high-performance sports must be developed in depth; developing breakthrough tourism, a key industry, associated with culture and sports.

Recalling President Ho Chi Minh's statement that "Culture lights the way for the nation", the Prime Minister emphasized that the culture of the Vietnamese people - with a history of thousands of years - is the nation's eternal strength; developing physical education and sports is an objective and mandatory requirement, contributing to the formation of a healthy nation; tourism is a key economic sector.

Therefore, according to the Prime Minister, the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector plays an extremely important role, with a profound, comprehensive, global impact, both urgent and strategic, long-term for socio-economic development, national construction and protection, contributing to creating a solid foundation to bring the country into a new era, an era of national growth, building a strong and prosperous Vietnam.
