Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and his wife paid an official visit to Vietnam from August 27-29 at the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
This visit by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong is his fifth visit to Vietnam as Prime Minister. This shows the closeness and connection between Singapore and Vietnam.
This visit is also part of a series of events organized by the two sides to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations and 10 years of the Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Singapore, following Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's visit to Singapore in February 2023.
During this visit, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will attend a series of important activities and events demonstrating comprehensive cooperation and mutual trust between Vietnam and Singapore.
The official activities will take place tomorrow (August 28). After the welcoming ceremony at the Presidential Palace, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will have high-level talks, witness the signing of a number of documents, and meet the press to announce the results of the meeting.
