This morning, in China, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh delivered an important speech at the Opening Plenary Session of the 15th Annual Pioneers Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF Dalian) together with Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Polish President Andrzej Duda.
Speaking at the opening session, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh shared his insightful observations on the five characteristics of the current world, along with three key factors and three pioneering areas shaping the future world. The Prime Minister emphasized: "These are breakthrough factors, opening up new development spaces, creating unlimited resources, and being the shortest path to rapid and sustainable growth."
Sharing Vietnam's story, the Prime Minister emphasized that Vietnam's success over the past 40 years is associated with the key words: Innovation, creativity and integration. The achievements have affirmed the correctness of the development policies and viewpoints of the Party and State of Vietnam with 3 foundations, 6 focuses and consistent principles: maintaining political stability; taking people as the center, the subject, the goal, the driving force and the most important resource of development; not sacrificing progress, social justice, social security and the environment to pursue economic growth alone.

To move towards "New Growth Horizons", the Prime Minister suggested that WEF and its partners promote public-private cooperation, promote the role of pioneers in leading and orienting the development and economic restructuring of countries, regions and the world, especially in three important areas.
Firstly, building and perfecting the market economic institution, especially mobilizing and effectively using all resources, improving the effectiveness of national governance. Secondly, focusing on developing the strategic infrastructure system, especially transport infrastructure, digital infrastructure, climate change response, social infrastructure, healthcare, and education. Thirdly, training and developing human resources, especially high-quality human resources for new growth drivers, digital economy, green economy, and circular economy.
