At noon on June 26, right after concluding activities within the framework of the 15th Annual Pioneers Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) held in Dalian City, Liaoning Province, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation left Dalian City for Beijing (China).

At the invitation of Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang and Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Klaus Schwab, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is on a working trip to attend the 15th Annual Pioneers Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF Dalian 2024) and work in China from June 24-27. During his working program in Beijing, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is expected to meet with senior Chinese leaders, visit the Vietnamese Embassy and overseas Vietnamese in China, and continue to have meetings with leaders of leading Chinese businesses and corporations.

Previously, on the afternoon of June 24 in Dalian city, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh held talks with Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang. This is the second time in two consecutive years that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has visited and attended the WEF Conference in China, demonstrating the high regard of the Party and Government of Vietnam for the Vietnam-China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership. In recent times, under the joint efforts of both sides, the Vietnam-China relationship has maintained a stable development momentum, achieving many positive results. After two historic mutual visits by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong (October 2022) and General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping (December 2023), the two Parties and two countries have established a new position for bilateral relations, agreed to deepen and elevate the Vietnam-China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, build a Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future of strategic significance, adding strong momentum for the two Parties and two countries to continuously consolidate and strengthen the neighborly friendship and comprehensive cooperation.

In the context of the current profound, substantive and comprehensive development of the relations between the two Parties and countries, 2025 is of great significance in the bilateral relationship, as the two countries celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations (January 18, 1950 - January 8, 2025). Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's working trip to attend WEF Dalian 2024 and work in China is an opportunity for senior leaders of the two countries to discuss in depth specific measures to continue effectively implementing the common perception reached between the top leaders of the two Parties and two countries.
