Welcoming Chairman Ha Dong Phong and leaders of COMAC Group to visit Vietnam on the occasion of General Secretary andPresident of China Xi Jinping's visit to Vietnam, the Prime Minister said that during this visit to Vietnam by General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping, the two sides will discuss many important issues for the future development of the two countries and bilateral relations, along with signing many important documents, including cooperation in the aviation sector.
The Prime Minister said that the Party and State of Vietnam always encourage large enterprises, representing high scientific and technological level of China, to participate in new investments and expand investment in the fields of transport infrastructure in Vietnam, including aviation. On that basis, the Government of Vietnam and relevant ministries and sectors are ready to facilitate airlines in the process of organizing and exploiting flight routes between Vietnam and other countries, contributing to the development of trade, tourism, and socio- economics .
The Prime Minister highly appreciated and congratulated COMAC Group, which despite its recent establishment, has developed rapidly and become a major aircraft manufacturing group in China; saying that after each working session with COMAC Group's leaders, the aviation cooperation between COMAC and Vietnamese partners has had better results.

The Prime Minister welcomed and highly appreciated the effective cooperation in recent times between COMAC Group and Vietjet Air - a private airline that is operating very dynamically, effectively, always innovating, contributing much to social security in Vietnam and still has much potential for development; as well as the possibility of expanding cooperation between COMAC and other airlines and partners of Vietnam in the future.
Analyzing the development trends in today's world, as well as the regional and global aviation market, the Prime Minister suggested that, with the tradition of good relations of "both comrades and brothers", "mountains connecting mountains, rivers connecting rivers" between Vietnam and China, COMAC Group cooperates and supports Vietnamese partners in developing aircraft fleets, expanding flight routes; moving towards producing components, manufacturing aircraft, developing the aviation ecosystem, aviation economy, training high-quality human resources and exploiting Vietnam's space, contributing to promoting the Vietnam - China relationship to develop more substantially, effectively and in depth.
The Prime Minister proposed that along with cooperation in purchasing, leasing, and hire-purchasing aircraft, COMAC cooperate with partners to invest in aircraft warranty, maintenance, and repair centers in Vietnam.

Highly agreeing with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's assessment of new development trends in the world, the Chairman of COMAC expressed his joy at witnessing the vitality, openness, tolerance and the atmosphere of striving to rise up taking place throughout Vietnam under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the administration of the Government; believing that under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vietnam will develop more and more strongly.
Sharing about the formation and development process of COMAC, COMAC Chairman Ha Dong Phong said that after only 17 years, COMAC has become a large and prestigious aircraft manufacturer.
