In the morning, when inspecting the Van Phong-Nha Trang Expressway Project, the Prime Minister welcomed the contractors and supervision consultants for learning from experience to adjust the progress; requested to promote the good aspects that have been achieved; and highly appreciated the spirit of working through holidays and days off for the development of the country's transport infrastructure.
The Prime Minister proposed to shorten the progress to April 30, 2025 to complete the project. According to the Prime Minister, the units need to take advantage of the dry season weather to speed up the construction progress, especially the leveling item.
Regarding site clearance for the project, the Prime Minister requested that it be completed because there is only one household that has not been relocated in this project; regarding technical infrastructure, the Government will direct, and the locality must also take part. If there are only a few 220kV transmission poles crossing the road, it can still be resolved quickly.
The Prime Minister requested that during the project implementation, attention must be paid to combating negativity, not selling or dividing the bid package for profit; the Ministry of Transport must carefully review this issue, especially ensuring that the project contractor has capacity and experience.

The Van Phong-Nha Trang Expressway Project has a total route length of 83.35km; passing through 4 districts and towns: Van Ninh, Ninh Hoa, Dien Khanh and Khanh Vinh in Khanh Hoa province; Total investment: 11,808 billion VND; construction started: January 2023, completion: according to the contract in December 2025.
The project includes 2 construction packages: (1) Package XL.01: Value of 4,179 billion VND, joint venture of contractors Lizen (leading), Phuong Thanh, Hai Dang and VNCN E&C; (2) Package XL.02: Value of 2,959 billion VND, joint venture of contractors Son Hai (leading), Vinaconex.
The contractors mobilized 42/42 construction sites (24 road sites, 18 bridge sites) with 1,020/657 equipment, 1,877/1,626 workers simultaneously on the entire route. Cumulative output: 3,451/7,138 billion VND, reaching 50% of the contract value, exceeding the contract plan by 5%. The output of each contractor basically exceeded the schedule.

DATP 2 is 37.5km long, with the Ministry of Transport as the managing agency (Project Management Board 6 is the investor). The total investment is 10,436 billion VND, including 3 construction packages. DATP 3 is 48.0km long, with the People's Committee of Dak Lak province as the managing agency. The total investment is 6,165 billion VND, including 3 construction packages.
